Every Human Being Believes That There Is Only
ONE LORD TO BE WORSHIPPED.
There is no doubt that Allah knows what path each individual will take. However, He has created a place in both Paradise and Hell for each and every individual amongst Jinn and Man. In Surah At-Taghabun, chapter 64, verse 9, Allah says

In this verse, Allah calls the Day of Judgment the Day of Taghabun-which means the Day of mutual loss and gain. The following explanation illustrates why this name is given : For person "X" there is a place in hell and heaven. If he believes in the world and acts upon the injuctions set by Allah, he will receive his place in paradise and his other place in hell will be taken by a dweller of hell, one who disbelieved in Allah in the world. Also, he may receive more in Jannah )Paradise) due to the gain from a disbliever's lost spot in Jannah because the latter chose to disbelieve in Allah in the world. Therefore, Allah has created enough spots in heaven for all jinn and man to dwell in. Now it is up to the indivicual to decide whether he/she wants to believe in Allah in this world or wants to disbelieve. Accordingly, he/she will be given the dwelling place on Yawm at Taghabun - the day of mutual loss and gain.
Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihai wassalam left us with good news. in a narration collected by Bukhari, he stated :
"Whoever meets Allah without ascribing anything to Him will enter Jannah."
Thus, ultimately, a believer will enter Paradise. Some may enter in directly, and others after being punished for their wrong doings. However, after all the accountablility, the final abode for the believer, for the one who believed in Allah and the Last day will be Paradise.
This is the moment for the believer to rejoice and work even harder to please Allah, doing righteous good deeds with Taqwa and Ikhlas, only seeking Allah's pleasure. May Allah cause us to always have strong believe (Emaan) and may He make it easy for us to continously turn to Him in repentance and do good deeds seeking His pleasure alone . Ameen.
