He passed away in 1985 and he was one of the best scholar of his times and even now no one comes close to his knowledge of Quran.

I heard that the interview was not aired anywhere since it was the time of Zia's brutal regime which thrived on imposing (their version of) Islamization. Plus, also that the interviewer himself was a member or sympathizer of Jamat-e-Islami which was extracting maximum benefits at that time, so the interview was not shared on any channel.
Problem is that , Pervaiz and his legacy / works are not shared even in the present age when Pakistan has got over 50 private channels. I wish Neo TV or Bol TV may take some step, even though it may cause some disturbance and protests on behalf of clergies such as agitation against Hamza Ali Abbasi on channels as well as social media during Ramzan this year.
