Taliban's Fear : KPK CM Pervaz Khattak didn't participate in Flag hoisting ceremony

یوم آزادی کے موقع پر صوبہ خیبر پختونخوا میں پرچم کشائی کی تقریب میں وزیراعلیٰ پرویز خٹک نے طالبان کے خوف سے شرکت نہیں کی اور ان کی جگہ صوبائی وزیر صحت اور تحریک انصاف کے رہنما شوکت یوسف زئی نے پرچم کشائی کی۔


ایکسپریس نیوز کے مطابق پرچم کشائی کی تقریب پشاور کے علاقے پولیس لائنز میں منعقد ہوئی جس میں میڈیا کو دعوت کے باوجود شرکت کی اجازت نہیں دی گئی تھی، ذرائع کے مطابق پرویز خٹک طالبان کے خوف کے باعث تقریب میں شریک نہیں ہوئے تاہم شوکت یوسف زئی نے اس بارے میں مؤقف اختیار کیا کہ وزیر اعلیٰ ایک اہم اجلاس میں مصروف ہونے کے باعث تقریب میں شرکت نہیں کرسکے۔


واضح رہے کہ صوبہ خیبر پختونخونخوا میں تحریک انصاف کی حکومت آنے کے بعد یوم آزادی کی یہ پہلی تقریب تھی جسے دہشت گردی کے خطرے کے پیش نظر جناح پارک سے پولیس لائنز منتقل کردیا گیا تھا۔​

In Peshawar‚ the main function of the Independence Day was held at Malik Sa'ad Shaheed Police Lines. Provincial Minister for Health Shaukat Yousufzai unfurled the national flag. A smart contingent of Police presented the solute.
