But as far as I could hear, Maryam did NOT ask Malik Riaz to issue clarification. The transcript clearly says, (Maryam Nawaz said to Meher): "Hamari taraf se on-air keh dain, Hamza bhi keh raha hai".

I think its completely fair to call an anchor and issue a clarification about an allegation raised about you.

I think this part was not properly heard by Talat.
