Tahir-ul-Qadri-Sial - PHD is a joke

For those blind followers of TUQ - please take a moment and look at your 'Zinda Peers' PHD thesis, its readily available on HEC website.

The following comments will only make sense to persons who have done research and have post graduate degrees to their names.

Firstly, calling TUQ's plagiarism a PHD is a joke, as it is nothing more than a document that contains copy-paste from various sources.

Secondly, anyone involved with research knows that at PHD level you are expected to provide a solution to a problem in TUQ's case he was not even able to define the problem properly.

Thirdly, TUQ's own words were only of 4/5 pages out of 500+ pages of the thesis.

Fourthly, just compare his thesis with other PHD thesis on Islamic topics or other subjects and you will know that TUQ's thesis is really badly organized and lacks scholarly attributes.

I wonder how he was awarded this PhD.... clearly his Dr. title is a farce.

compare this with any other PhD on Islamic studies from a reputable institute and you will know what I am talking about.

Mehwish - I have read atleast 3 of his books and if you refer to my other column below - I have asked some questions on his hypocrisy which no one has dared to counter argue.

Similarly, I am challenging his PhD here but everyone seems to be diverting the topic including you. It says a lot about his character and he is a serial hypocrite. If you still want to support him because Altaf asks you to .. then I can only pray for you.

If TUQ decides to stay away from MQM and calls Altaf hussain a traitor then will you still support him? Please tell me honestly and objectively.

میں پھر اپنی بات دہراتی ہوں۔

۔۔۔۔ اگر طاہر القادری صاحب سے کچھ معاملات میں علمی اختلاف ہے، یا رائے کا اختلاف تو کیا جا سکتا ہے اور یہ چیز بالکل انسانی ہے ۔۔۔۔ مگر جو طرز عمل اور رویہ آپ نے اپنایا ہوا ہے، وہ علمی اختلاف سے ہٹ کر تنگ نظری کی حدود میں پہنچ گیا ہے۔ اس تنگ نظری کی وجوہات سیاسی ہیں یا پھر فرقہ وارانہ، یہ میں آپ پر اور اللہ پر چھوڑتی ہوں۔

کم از کم جہاں تک میں علم کو سمجھ سکی ہوں، تو پی ایچ ڈی کا 500 صفحات کا مقالہ بہت چھوٹی چیز ہے، قادری صاحب کی تصانیف میں اس سے کہیں گنا بڑھ کر تحقیق موجود ہے۔ اسی لیے آپ کے اعتراض میں جو وزن ہے، وہ مجھے فقط سیاسی یا پھر فرقہ وارانہ اختلاف کی وجہ سے نظر آ رہا ہے۔
