Iraniano ka kaam hai har waqt bus matam kerte rehna, last time I checked there were around 11 national holidays based on deaths and mourning. Their whole existence is based around mourning, acting the victim, pity, grief, sadness etc etc. No wonder they always look and sound angry all the time.
