Shia qiyadat hi authority hai iss muamle mein Altaf maama lagta hai inka har mumla mein panga leina ka isko shauq hai . ab shia bradri karachi mein iski b team ban ke nahein rahe gi . inshallah

Hazara protestors refuse to bury 84 victims, call for army action

[TD]QUETTA: As countrywide mourning is being observed against more than 80 killings in Quetta, heirs of the victims continued protest sit-in on Monday along with dead bodies of their beloved ones, refusing to bury them unless the culprits are arrested, SAMAA reported.
Terror came back to haunt people of Quetta’s Hazara community on Saturday when a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laded water tanker in a packed bazaar at Hazara Town. The death toll has mounted to 84 with nearly 200 injured.
In Quetta‚ people of Hazara tribe, including women and children, are holding a protest outside an Imambargah since Sunday evening, placing the dead bodies of the martyrs of Kerani road blast.
The community on Sunday gave the government an ultimatum of 48 hours to bring the culprits to book and kick start an army operation in restive parts of Balochistan.
Shia organizations – Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM), Balochistan Shia Conference, Quetta Yakjehti Conference – which are leading their community, have called for strike in Balochistan today. Political and nationalist parties also announced to support the strike.
A final decision regarding burial the dead would be taken today following government’s negotiations with the protesting Shia people.
Countrywide protests were held on Sunday and Monday in wake of Quetta tragedy, with national flag lowered at half mast in the Punjab and Balochistan today.
Shia Ulema Council has given a strike call in Karachi for today (Monday). MQM, Sunni Tehrik and Jamaat-e-Islami have announced to support the strike.
Scores of people took to roads to stage protest demonstrations in different areas of Karachi on Sunday, urging the government to cope with the terrorists.
Last month three bomb blasts in Quetta killed nearly 100 people, one of Pakistan's worst sectarian attacks. Thousands of Shi'ites protested in several cities after that attack.
Reports say the government has formed two investigation teams to probe into the carnage. The case has been registered at Barori Police Station, Balochistan Police said.
Under instructions of Governor Balochistan, who is also the chief executive of the province, two investigations teams headed by DIG Investigations Fayyaz Sumbul were formed. They are directed to submit the report within 10 days. -SAMAA

Shia organisations denounce MQM chief Altaf Hussain

ISLAMABAD - The joint front of Shia organisations on Thursday denounced Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain for terming the successful talks between the Quetta Yakjehti Council and the government and burial of the bodies a betrayal with the Shia community.
Allama Asghar Askari, Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen Deputy Secretary General flanked by Allama Fakhar Alvi, Allama Nayyar Abbas, Dr Abid Hussain and other representatives of various Shia organisations expressed serious concern over the recently appointed Balochistan Inspector General Mushtaq Sukhera and demanded the government remove him immediately, as he had been supporting banned outfits in Punjab.
To a question, the MWM leader said that the relatives of Quetta blast victims were unhappy over Sukhera’s appointment. He also said the people also wanted the sacking of Frontier Constabulary Director General Obaidullah, adding that talks were underway with the government over the issue.
He clarified that all the demands by the relatives of Hazara victims were accepted by the government and they ended their sit-in to their own free will. He said the MQM was trying to hijack the whole situation.
Criticising the MQM, he urged the MQM to focus on the continued target killing of Shias in Karachi. The MWM leader declared it a drama being staged by the MQM to become the stakeholder in the Hazara situation and to cash the situation politically.
“When their organisation and the relatives of Hazara victims managed successful negotiations and got their demands accepted then why Altaf Hussain is and his MQM issuing statements against the organisers,” He added.
He said that the MWM felt the same pain for the relatives of those who were being killed by target killers, adding that soon an All Parties Conference would be summoned in Karachi to convince political leadership to end the violence in the city.
After the announcement to bring an end to the sit-in, miscreants tried to highjack the movement by putting hurdles in the burial, adding that these miscreants also opened fire on the police.
“Such miscreants have nothing to do with the peaceful Shia nation,” he added.
Lauding the post-protest sit-in role by the government, Askari expressed his satisfaction over the launch of various targeted operations against the terrorists in various parts of the country, urging government to “do more” for the country’s sovereignty.
