Sit-ins: Khadim Rizvi, Afzal Qadri among 500 booked for rioting

LAHORE/ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Lahore Police on Sunday booked top brass of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) including party s chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi and senior leader Afzal Qadri on charges of sabotaging peace and rioting in the wake of Supreme Court of Pakistan’s (SC) verdict acquitting Asia Bibi in blasphemy case.
As per details garnered, Lahore Police lodged as many as 11 cases against the top leadership and 500 other unknown miscreants.
Likewise, 34 first investigation reports (FIRs) have been lodged in Faisalabad, 12 in Kasur district, two in Islamabad on charges of treason, inflammatory speeches, violence and vandalism.
The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have also decided countrywide crackdown against hooligans involved in wanton violence. Pictures and videos in this regard are being collected.
Taking strong exception to wanton violence by hooligans in the recent sit-ins and protest rallies, Prime Minister [PM] Imran Khan on Sunday has taken notice of the situation and directed Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar and federal ministers to initiate stern legal action against all those involved in pillage and destruction of public and private properties.
As per details garnered, PM Khan directed officials concerned to not spare miscreants involved in sabotaging peace and normalcy.
Expressing exasperation over physical abuse of citizens, Khan ordered to arrest all those involved in violent activities during the course of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) sit-ins.
Legal action would also be taken by Cyber Wing of Federal Investigation Agency and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority against all those involved in spreading inflammatory content through digital platforms.

لاہور پولیس نے تحریک لبیک کے رہنما افضل قادری اور خادم رضوی سمیت 500 افراد پر مقدمات درج کیے گئے ہیں جبکہ افضل قادری اور خادم رضوی کی ایف آئی آر سیل کردی گئی ہیں۔ پولیس کا کہنا ہےکہ تحریک لبیک کے دونوں رہنمائوں کیخلاف نقص امن اور سڑک بلاک کرنے کا الزام ہے۔ فیصل آباد میں پولیس نے احتجاج کرنے والے 3000 افراد کیخلاف 29 مقدمات درج کرکے ضلع بھر میں 218 افراد کو گرفتار کر لیا ہے۔

چنیوٹ میں احتجاجی مظاہرین کے خلاف 3 مقدمات درج کرکے 13 افراد کو حراست میں لے لیا گیا۔ سرگودھا میں 300 افراد کیخلاف 2 مقدمات درج کرلئے گئے۔ جھنگ میں 150 افراد کیخلاف 2 مقدمات درج کرکے 12 سے زائد افراد کو گرفتار کرلیا گیا۔کراچی کے علاقے گلستان جوہر اور پہلوان گوٹھ

میں فائرنگ کرنے اور زبردستی دکانیں بند کرانے پر تین ملزمان کو گرفتار کرکے مقدمہ درج کرلیا گیا، ملزمان کیخلاف مقدمے میں جان سے مارنے کی کوشش اور نقصان پہنچانے کی دفعات شامل ہیں۔

What a farce! Khadim Rizvi and Afzal Qadri have been booked for blocking roads and disturbing law-n-order situation.
They will easily get out of these charges from courts. These 'Dallay' should have been booked under sedition charges for inciting people to kill SC judges and inciting soldiers to do rebellion against COAS by declaring him Qadiani.

I sincerely suggest that the Pakistan State Authorities should set Fearsome (IBRATNAAK) Punishments to these so called Mulanas, Mullas and their followers, so that in future they and their followers should never even in there dream thing of challenge the state authorities in name of Islam

There are ONLY 2 ways to control these people:
1. Separate Religion from State.
or
2. Bring a Khalifah.

That's it. Nothing else can work. So. Since I know you all will kill each other over who can be the Khalifah; that option is out the window. Option number 1 is what Kemal Ataturk took. The same guy Jinnah liked so much. ;)
