Should Mosque's have the Cresent symbol on them?

I have seen many youtube videos and articles where enemy of islam symbolises Allah with moon god :naooz: . They use the argument of goddess laat the daughter of Allah :naooz: worshiped by pre-islamic pagan arabs. They also used the moon symbol as far as I know

So shouldn't we avoid using the moon symbol?

Moon is nothing but a symbol , we muslim do not worship it ....yes i agree that for non-muslim its sometime too hard to understand that we do not worship Kaaba ( when we circle it ) , we do not worship "Aswad" ( when we kiss it ) , we do not worship Muhammad saw ( when we consider him the most beloved person for us ) ........

but i wont give my vote to abandon using this symbol since now this has become our identity symbol , n its been there for 1400 years...

we need to change their perception rather than stopping using this symbol.

I think we should avoid all kinds of symbols and symbolism. There is no place for symbols in Islam. Some people worship idols because they consider it a symbol of god. We should keep everything simple and avoid symbols.
