The time up to which Sharifs' are useful for MOSAD, CIA, MI-6 and RAW they own the property.

If Pakistan hasn't initiated a claim against them then I suspect the Sharifs have already consulted with lawyers and know that they could sell them without repercussions. They know UK law better than the Pakistanis.

The property is under legal dispute. The millions of dollar property will not be sold easily.

I don't think selling these apartments will be that easy for Sharifs now after all this publicity .
Government of Pakistan should however put an ad in England papers that the government has an interest in thse apartment. Any one
trying to buy these should do it on his own risk!

I think you are right or may be some one else (may be they themselves) will buy it in anther name...……..

In UK law there is something called Registering a "caution" and a "charge" againt a property. Basically if someone owes you money, you register a "caution" with the Land Registry. It prevents the seller selling any property without the buyer being aware that the owner owes money to a third party. Whislt the caution is in place selling the property becomes almost impossible as the debt must be repaid before any sale can take place..........or the proceeds used to satisfy the debt

Where more than one party has an interest in a registered estate or charge, the general rule that decides the priority of each party’s claim is that each interest ranks in accordance with the date of its creation. Someone with an existing interest will not be affected by a later disposition (section 28 of the Land Registration Act 2002. Note that different general rules govern the priority between interests that were created before the Land Registration Act 2002 came into force).

It will be difficult for them to sell this anytime soon also when "official searches" conducted by buyer's solicitor it will reveal all negative media coverage and property status!

Until and unless a Caution/Claim is initiated by Pakistan Govt, these properties can be sold. However, I guess, they are not selling it, rather they might only be looking to rent it out. No one, in their sane frame of mind would go for such a disputed and notorious place.
