ISLAMABAD: The Senate on Friday adopted a resolution affirming the supremacy of the Constitution and the Parliament.

The resolution also said that the demand for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's resignation and dissolution of the Parliament was unconstitutional.
The resolution was tabled by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Saeed Ghani.

In yesterday’s session of the National Assembly a resolution had been unanimously approved demanding supremacy of the constitution and law.

The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, before the start of the meeting media had reported that Nawaz Sharif was expected to deliver a speech and take the NA into confidence in his address about his government’s future plan of action regarding demands put forward by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leadership.

Some people are making guess that PPP will join PTI but what I foresee that the prevalent coercive system is the best bet for PPP to launch Bilawal as a power contender.Other than that he do not stand a chance.

Supremacy of corruption. All corrupt and stays que parties are united against change.

you are right. Only Canadian Padri, Ch brothers, Mustafa Khar, Sheeda Tali, Jhangeer Tareen, Qureshi are representatives of change. These guys were in power for last 30 years but now they think these assemblies are corrupt because they are not part of them.

Very true! the current political system supports only this option, otherwise all these traditional politicians would not survive and their generation would also be remained unattended. No one would prefer them.
