I slamabad: Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has said that his son Arsalan Chaudhry will not be spared if he is found guilty of financial impropreity. Hearing the suo-moto corruption case involving Arsalan Chaudhry and business tycoon Malik Riaz Wednesday, Chief Justice of Pakistan commented that no concession will be given to his son, who is the accused in the case.
The Chief Justice directed renowned journalists,
Hamid Mir, Najam Sethi, Kamran Khan and Shaheen Sehbai to hand over all relevant material to the court. The CJ warned that action will be taken if the material is not submitted in the court.
Saach.tv quoted reliable sources as saying Tuesday that
Malik Riaz presented purported evidence against CJ’s son to senior journalists of the country’s leading news group, allegedly including Najam Sethi, Kamran Khan, Hamid Mir and Shaheen Sehbai.
Supreme Court’s three-member bench, which is headed by Chief Justice and includes Justice Jawad S Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif, was constituted Tuesday late night to hear the case. The bench had
summoned both Arsalan Chaudhry and Malik Riaz today; however, the latter failed to appear before the court. Sources said that
Malik Riaz went out of country last night. The apex court has adjourned the hearing until 11:30 AM, directing authorities to present Malik Riaz before court today.

This is great news, now the Press which was spreading rumors would be obliged to handover the evidence to the court.
We all know Malik Riaz wouldn't appear in the Court.
We also know now PPP is going to distance itself from this episode all together. Something many suspect they were planning. As was apparent from the tweet of Ch Fawad to Sehbai.
