SC rejects the documents submitted by Malik subjecting to the renouncement of his UK citizenship.


A three-member bench headed by chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the case pertaining to the dual nationality of parliamentarians.

During the hearing, the bench rejected the documents submitted by Azhar Chaudhry, counsel of Interior minister Rehman Malik, saying that the letter mentioned the declaration. However, no such declaration is being attached with the documents.

Referring to the suspension of Faranaz Ispahani membership, chief justice said that discrimination cannot be made in this regard.

Azhar Chaudhry maintained that Rehman Malik will submit all the required documents as soon as he returns back from London.

Adjourning the hearing, the bench ordered Rehman Malik and Zahid Iqbal to submit their documents till June 4 or else their membership will be suspended.

I have already knew, Malik has not renounced his British Nationality and does not posses the Applicant's copy of the RN1 form, duly attested by the Home Office. This liar is lying in the SCP, he should be jailed for perverting the course of justice by making a materially false statement in the Highest court in the Land.

But the problem is, does SCP and CJ have courage to do so?
Those who criticised me for writing emails to CJ, should realise my foresight. I was right and most of what I write now would become true in near future, Inshallah.

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has rejected documents submitted by Interior Minister Rehman Malik pertaining to him forfeiting his British citizenship.

A three member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhamamd Chaudhry resumed hearing of the dual nationality case on Wednesday. The apex court said the documents presented by Maliks counsel did not have the declaration of the Interior Minister forfeiting his British citizenship. The court summoned the necessary documents on June 4.

During proceedings Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry remarked that there were constitutional curbs on parliamentarians from holding dual nationality.

The Supreme Court has already suspended the National Assembly membership of PPP MNA Farahnaz Ispahani for failing to forfeit and not informing the Election Commission about her US citizenship. The issue has sparked debate in government quarters and Prime Minister Gilani during an interview on Capital Talk said that there was no constitutional restriction on parliamentarians holding dual nationality.

His problem is when the form is signed and stamped by the Home Office (UK), his UK Nationality is finished, It cannot be reacquired, unless you go through the whole procedure again and that takes years.

All that money, property and wealth here, he would need a visa to come back, and then have to explain all sorts of things

I do not think he will renounce his Brit Nationality,

as Crank said, he has misled the Court and presented documents which are clearly not in order

or as more likely they will just ignore the Supreme Court again

RM submitted a hand written statement. His Lawyers said, RM has gone to the UK to bring the relevant documents.
How could be produce a back dated applicant's copy of RM1 from UK? Your guesses are as good as mine.
I hope our SCP judges find some courage and send this corrupt crook to jail for a long sentence, without bail, for Perjury and perverting the course of Justice.

Maybe he will get here and due to unforseen circumstances be delayed indefinitley,

or he just cannot find it and has requested a duplicate by second class post

And you are right there is NO way he will get something backdated, so if he produces it, it will be dated accordingly

How can he produced a hand written document as a proof of his renouncing the B citizenship?

You should ask, if he has surrendered his nationality, then as I explained, according to British Laws he has no right to abode.
So he should be visiting UK and Europe now on Pakistani Passports and on Visas. How come he cannot show that to the SCP?

I think he would only stay in the UK when this corrupt PPP government is gone. Where else he would be?
Secondly, in today's Off the Record, Tariq said that RM has a big flat in Central London location, which could be worth few millions. He also said he knows addresses of many of RM properties in London, he wanted to know how RM accumulated such vast wealth on his meager wages in FIA?

RM wouldn't give his British Citizenship just because SCP would disqualify him. He lied to SCP, pure and simple.
He knows he can dodge the bullet as long as corrupt Zardari is with him.
