The ineptness and inappropriateness of SC CJ Mr. Nasir ul Mulk in handling cases pertaining to suffering of Islamabad residents and businesses owing to TUQ and IK Blockade was shocking for everyone.
The supreme court chief justice Mr.Nasir ul Milk , the supreme court itself and its subsidiary judiciary including IHC CJ has shown that they are neither of any use to themselves , or the lawyers or even the public or for the constitution . Each SC judge has now to park car at a distance and walk to courts , litigants and lawyers can hardly reach the courts for the last fifteen days , secretariats cannot funcrion properly because of crowd gathered by TUQ and Imran khan ,but CJ Mr.Nasir Ull Mulk in order to side with fellow Pashtoon did not order a single relief , not even ordering that atleast one side of constitution avenue be opened. What to talk of anything positive . On every hearing he will avoid a decision to alleviate the suffering of litigants or lawyers and try to pose irrelevant questions so as to try to prolong and to waste time of court ,of people and Pakistan . Fifty five schools are occupied by security to protect Islamabad from marauding hordes who would otherwise gather to use agitation for loot and arson and suicide bombings .
I wrote earlier in a seperate thread much earlier that SC of Pakistan is in bad hands , most of the judges are politically appointed , some are agency type , other are money type .
We should be grateful to the illogical course of SC CJ to show us that how irrelevant is western legal system's archaic form and its leaders are to the plight of the country. A SC judge today himself claimed that he had difficulty but would he do something , nay is the answer .
Just see record of Nasir ul Mullk hearing on death penalty cases , he would not grant even 15 minutes to the leave to appeal to reject it and here his own access is blocked and just to favour a fellow pashto on political issue he is not bothering about the inconvenience of his fellow ,judges , litigants and lawyers . SC has not announced any extension of days allowed for filing appeals owing to last days of blockage of access of roads and he has not bothered to allow entensions for hundreds of days of lawyers strike which occurred in the last several years . IHC CJ has also been of no use to public on this issue and has busied himself in hand kissing of former bosses as explained in another previous thread .
