The Manhattan District Attorney's office dropped felony assault charges against the millionaire Internet entrepreneur boyfriend of “The Hills” star Stephanie Pratt. He now faces two misdemeanors.
Julien Chabbott, 28, plowed over a cop's foot in his Italian sports car last August in a feeble attempt to avoid a parking ticket.
Chabbott, of Chelsea and invented the app Linesnob, was caught on tape clipping the cop's toes as he tried to peel out in his $257,000 Ferrari Spider after being ticketed for parking in a no-standing zone in front of the swank Mercer Hotel.

In this still taken from YouTube, Julien Chabbott is thrown over the hood of his Ferrari 458 Spyder while being arrested for running over an NYPD officer's foot.
The viral YouTube video captured the cop dragging Chabbott out of the vehicle and slamming him on top of the car, then on the ground as another offer held his feet.
"The (officer) did not suffer fracture as a result [of the incident]," said Assistant District Attorney Ariel Pizzitola, explaining the rationale to lower the charges from a felony to misdemeanor reckless assault and obstruction of government administration.
"We're glad to see the case is moving in the right direction," said his lawyer Ben Braffman.
He is expected back in court on Dec. 11.
