Anyway any pakistani can become army chief regardless of his feliguous beliefs. Pakistan army is pakistani army not muslim army otherwise what is wrong with joing Taliban who call themselves just muslim force.

Ahmadies do not sign this declaration coz it is against there belief to sign a statement which is actually not true i.e. the clause saying that dey do not belive in khattum e nabowat absolutely,,,,,,,, but infact according to them they believe in it,,,with a different defination,,,,, This different defination according to them is no way harming the finality of Prophet Muhammad SAW,,,,and if they r Kafirs then alot of FUQAH also declared the same defination which they r saying centuries back,,,, and it is true with references,,,,, a) Deoband Founder: a)Molana ABul Qasim Nanotowi says the same thing,,,b) Molana Ibn e Arabi,,,,,,,c) Imam Malik and many may more had said the same thing clearly in their books same what ahmadies has said,,,,,, so they dun sign it any thing against Prophet Muhammad SAW which mullah compell them to sign.
