Nawaz Shariff should sack Saad Rafique as his minister of railways until a full public inquiry exonerates him and his department of any incompetence and negligence that caused over sixteen deaths of our soldiers in Gujranwala train accident. General Raheel Shareef should demand a public inquiry by an independent commission with participation of military lawyers to investigate the cause and announce its verdict.

The fact of the matter is that that the buck stops with the minister of railways and if he were a Chinese, they would stand him against a wall in front of a firing squad if found guilty of negligence.
