‘No other option but to… leave Mariupol safely’: Mayor
Mayor Vadym Boychenko has said “there is no other solution” but to allow residents to leave Mariupol safely, “given that our hometown is constantly under ruthless fire from the occupiers”.“This is not an easy decision, but, as I have always said, Mariupol is not its streets or houses. Mariupol is its population, it is you and me,” Boychenko was quoted as saying in a statement.

ماسکو: روس نے انسانی بنیادوں پریوکرین کے 2 شہروں میں عارضی جنگ بندی کا اعلان کیا ہے۔
غیرملکی میڈیا کے مطابق روس کی وزارت دفاع کی جانب سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ انسانی بنیادوں پریوکرین کے 2 شہروں ماریوپل اوروولونواخا میں عارضی جنگ بندی کی جارہی ہے۔
روسی وزارت دفاع کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ ماریوپل اوروولونواخا میں جنگ بندی کا مقصد شہریوں کوانخلا کی سہولت دینا ہے۔اس سلسلے میں یوکرینی حکام سے بات ہوگئی ہے۔ شہریوں کے انخلا کے دوران کسی قسم کی فوجی کارروائی نہیں کی جائے گی۔
ماریوپل کے میئر وادیم بوئیچنکو نے روسی فوجیوں کے حملے اور ناکہ بندی کے دوران انسانی بنیادوں پر جنگ بندی کا مطالبہ کیا تھا۔
