Even UK hasn’t done total lockdown. Just went out to collect food from supermarket click and collect service. Supermarket car park was 40% full - and delivery slots are unavailable for next 3 weeks. We’re cooking food like crazy this afternoon so I can deliver to some of my elderly relatives this evening.
Total lockdown would not have made that possible. Even UK govt cannot guarantee food for all vulnerable people and our dumbfuck PPP, PMLN and AAWs (Anchor/Analyst/Whatever) want total lockdown?

You save lives by flattening the curve so that the healthcare system does not get overwhelmed.
However, no amount of flattening the curve will prevent the melt down of our broken system.
