Request for Fair Inquiry of Rigged Elections Before Granting Loan to Pak

A letter to IMF (email to: [email protected])

Dear Sir,

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent elections held in Pakistan on February 8, 2024. There have been widespread reports and allegations of electoral fraud, manipulation, and rigging during these elections. Such actions undermine the democratic process and erode the trust of the people in their government. Under the circumstances, any debt acquired by the despotic regime in Pakistan would automatically qualify as an odious debt.

As an institution committed to promoting good governance, transparency, and accountability worldwide, I urge the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to withhold any further financial assistance or loan disbursements to Pakistan until a thorough and impartial inquiry is conducted into the alleged irregularities surrounding the elections.

It is imperative that any investigation into the matter is conducted by an independent body with the necessary authority and resources to examine all aspects of the electoral process, including voter intimidation, ballot stuffing, irregularities in voter registration, and any other forms of electoral malpractice. And it should look at the judicial syatem which looked the other way while all this was going on and took even the symbol of the most papolur political party in the country a few days before the election.

The credibility and legitimacy of Pakistan's democratic institutions hinge on the integrity of its electoral process. By ensuring a fair and transparent inquiry into the allegations of electoral fraud, the IMF can uphold its commitment to supporting democracy and good governance worldwide.

Thank you for considering this urgent matter. I look forward to your prompt action in addressing these concerns.

Sincerely,

Dear Sir,

I am writing to articulate my profound concerns regarding the recent electoral proceedings in Pakistan, specifically those held on February 8, 2024. There has been a proliferation of reports and allegations citing instances of electoral fraud, manipulation, and rigging during this critical democratic exercise. Such egregious actions not only subvert the sanctity of the democratic process but also severely undermine public trust in the governance apparatus.

Given the prevailing circumstances, it is my firm belief that any financial obligations incurred by the authoritarian regime in Pakistan ought to be categorized as odious debt. As an entity dedicated to fostering principles of good governance, transparency, and accountability on a global scale, I implore the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to exercise prudence by refraining from disbursing further financial assistance or loans to Pakistan until a comprehensive and unbiased investigation is conducted into the alleged electoral irregularities.

It is imperative that any inquiry into these matters be conducted by an independent entity vested with requisite authority and resources to meticulously scrutinize all facets of the electoral process. This includes, but is not limited to, investigating instances of voter intimidation, ballot tampering, irregularities in the voter registry, and any other forms of electoral malfeasance. Furthermore, such an inquiry should extend to examining the judicial apparatus, which seemingly turned a blind eye to these transgressions, even resorting to confiscating the symbol of the nation's most popular political party mere days before the election.

The credibility and legitimacy of Pakistan's democratic institutions hinge fundamentally on the integrity of its electoral mechanisms. By facilitating a fair and transparent investigation into the allegations of electoral impropriety, the IMF can unequivocally reaffirm its commitment to the promotion of democracy and good governance on a global scale.

Thank you for your attention to this pressing matter. I eagerly anticipate your swift and decisive action in addressing these concerns.

Yours sincerely

As a stop gap measure, China has already assured Pakistan of a significant financial help in return of corporation assurance for completion of few CPEC projects ahead of time on urgent basis.

Now, I seriously hope IMF stops our aid so we can show a middle finger to these PTI paid and lobbied Zionist US law makers who have not moved an inch on Gaza.

Did.
And like Salman, I also did few cosmetic changes to make it more palatable.

Very good initiative my brother.
