Its a huge personal loss n grief for IK.
I believe they were close and understood each other much better and Qazi Sb would have been a great bridge between 2 parties in future.

They were quite close but I'm not sure it was because of any religious reasons but simply because Qazi Sb was an honest man and one of the few who IK could trust in our politics.

From the pictures above one can draw a parallel from history: Mr. Jinnah in Congress speaking for Hindu Muslim Unity and later realizing he was amongst shrewd Hindu nationalistic bigots.
Similarly Khan in his APDM days.
This alliance could have lasted had NS not put all his faith in Zardari allowing him a free hand to rake a 5 year long carnage.

Qazi was a honest man, who valued true democratic principles. JI on the other hand is a confused organization lacking a clear vision for Pakistan.
