ISLAMABAD: While briefing the monitoring committee of Public accounts committee the audit officers informed that the Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has defaulted Rs 6.5 lacs to FIA. The audit officials said that during 1993-94 as Director General FIA he exceeded his telephone limit. Rehman Malik has been asked to make this payment to the FIA within three months. –
