I have seen that people here are doing comparison of last yrs Doctors issue in Punjab with that of present drs issue in KPK. Please read the reality before passing comments as all of you are confusing things here.
The fact is that no doctor in KPK belonging to YDA has gone for strike and has been doing their duties regulary .The only method they used was that their president Dr Alamgir went on hunger strike for their rightful demands and the very next day Health Minister Shaukat Yosufzai went to their hunger camp and everything got settled in just 15 mins..Please follow the YDA KPK page to know each and every detail.

The doctors who are on strike belong to heavily politicised PDA which has doctors who were appointed on political basis in previous govts.Since PTI has strted to appoint drs on merit and also make the admin drs to work properly therefore these politicised drs are just there to create menace for the political parties they belong to..Majority of them are in the admin cadre and therefore they are trying their best to save their corrupt practices of making money.
YDA who are totally non political and has doctors belonging to clinical cadre has already denounced this move by PDA and has categorically stated that they dont even recognize this association.
In short in KPK right now the Govt is taking strict action against the Administration of hospitals and drs who are in admin section are the ones who are facing the action exaple being the MS of 3 hospitals getting suspended while in Punjab the Govt was and still is in bed with the corrupt drs of admin section and always makes the clinical cadre doctors as scapegoat..Punjab drs are still waiting for the promised service structure and the only reason they have just gone quiet is because the YDA leadership has all gone to Saudia and the new leadership is not that proactive.
