Re-verification of CNICs

Does anyone know what happened of the CNIC re-verification plan? I think it was supposed to start from July 01, 2016. Further, how the overseas Pakistanis will get their cards re-verified? Please assist.

Yes I wanted to ask the same question... What should overseas Pakistanis do?

I don't think it applies to us overseas Pakistanis as most have NICOPs and not CNICs, or I could be totally wrong? And as with most this Nooras that was all just zubani kalami by Ch.Nisar Bean. Just to quell the masses. Raat gai baat gai
