Rangers officer among 4 gunned down in Karachi

Karachi: At least four men including a Rangers sub-inspector were gunned down in Karachi on Thursday.Police said that unidentified men shot dead a Abdul Hameed Chachar, the Rangers officer, when he was standing outside his residence in Korangi area of the city while another man was also shot dead in the same area. The victim was identified as Asad Hussain.In another incident armed men gunned down a man near Doa Hotel in Maripur area. Hospital sources said that the victim was shot on head. Another man was killed in Lee Market area of the city, the police said.

You think that this low ranking officer in the ranger is free to do whatever he deems fit? They have to get clearance to even go use the bathroom - and in a place like karachi they are ordered not to move until told to do so. If anyone who has to be held accountable for police and rangers not moving to protect the lives and property then it has to be the higher ups in the rangers or the provincial government.
