Quality of life suggestion for Siasat.pk

Hi Admins,

I would like to propose to you guyes the following suggestions to improve Siasat.pk platform which I'm finding myself to be a bit addicted to!

• Please set a limit to number of characters for the headline of a thread.

For Example, this is the perfect size heading:

But this is is not:

as you can not see who started the thread and the number of replies etc. Also it's annoying to read such a long heading. So I would suggest to count the number of letters to accommodate three lines for a thread and set that as a limit. I think 100 characters is more than enough.

• Please allow thread starter to delete comments posted under his/her thread.

There are some very aweful people on this thread and I think thread starter who took out time to post a thread on this forum for free earns the privilage to delete nasty comments on his/her thread

• Also please make it easier for people to post the threads.

It's such a pain to post a thread at the moment. There are 3 steps involved in posting a thread. Is there any way you can reduct three steps to maybe 2 or 1 step. Current three steps are, 1 headline 2 body 3 Image Thumbnail

• Last but not least, please look into your website and check which area of the website takes so long to load.

Compare the loading time of Siasat.pk and some other websitesite and analyse why siasat.pk takes so much longer to load. Improving the loading performance will help overall user experience.

I urge everyonie to please feel free to post your suggestions in this thread below.

Deleting a comment shouldn't be an option, u cant have just comments of ur choice.
yeah there should be an option to report spam or dislike.

But thread starter must have an option to delete ..ma behen ki gali ...
Walter ... I dono about other things...but v must hv an option to delete inappropriate comments..
(Btw posting a thread is easy enough..).

Lol potiyans want to install dictatorship on siasat.pk as well.... They want to read only those comments which are sweat to eyes....

They think that they have the right to abuse anyone , but no one else share this previlage..... LoL

They have abused millions of times on siasat.pk but can't tolerate it anymore as they are in the gov now.

The moderation on the forum does not exist. Therefore it's a free for all. Abuse happens openly and I know certain people will cry crocodile tears like post above me. But abuse is a two way street. Not one way.

Walter can you ask siasat pk to block Maryam safdar media cell patwaris posting threads it’s all lies and fake against the government

It went from an overtly moderated forum where even words like ganja were censored to this, TBH I prefer this. Censorship isn't good for anyone.

Oh yeah and a big NO NO to giving thread starters moderation powers. First whats the point of a debate when you will just delete opposing POVs just have some patience and grow a thicker skin, if you can't take it, then don't dish it out, and maybe Uncle Walter doesn't realize that the door swings both ways. The 1000s of patwari propanganda threads will also go unchallenged.

میری گزارش بس اس لیے تھی کہ۔۔۔میں بذات خود کسی کو ماں بہن کی گالی نہیں دیتا۔۔۔اس لیے جب کوئ میرے طنز یا تنقید پر گالی دیتا ہے تو بہت برا لگتا ہے۔۔۔
سوچھا اگر ڈیلیٹ کا آپشن پاس ہو۔۔۔تو موڈز کو تکلیف نہیں دینا پڑے گی۔۔۔
یا یہ بھی ممکن ہے کہ۔۔۔جن کی پوسٹس دس ہزار عبور کرجائیں۔۔۔انہیں یہ سہولت دے دی
