Why WAPDA will buy electricity from QASP genius??
It is IPP and can sell to WAPDA only who then sells to regional Distribution Companies who then sell to consumers ... tariff is set by NEPRA ...
When you buy expensive electricity and sell at low rates and have over average line losses and low recovery from consumers you are in total loss !!!
Please see the complete picture how our economy is being put under stress by these expensive projects .... we are all losers except the investors and the politicians ..
In simple words they are taking 3000 millions from us and returning 900 millions !!!
The Federal Gov is paying and Punjab Gov is pocketing the profits !!!

OK, OK!! It is not WAPDA it is CPPA ! what ever and through which ever company the Gov pays the IPPs it is paying from our Tax money!!!
Line losses are still above acceptable levels and cause billions of rupees .Since PML-N came to power we have paid approximately 100billion rupees in line losses!!!

It is being paid as per tariff approved by NEPRA against the electricity they produced. What's wrong in it?? All the IPPs making huge profits so we should not pay them from now onward??

NEPRA is run by Gov directly under Ministry of Power !!! it is no longer independent.
Tariffs are set to favor the investors and you ask me what's wrong with it !!!!

If we buy expensive electricity from these IPPS we can never use it for the industry and if we do not have cheap electricity for the industry we can never develop our economy !!!
This is one of the major reasons that our exports are constantly in decline since these Riwind rascals have come to power !!!
Ending load shedding by providing expensive electricity will have a very negative impact for our economy even if it might help the Riwind rascals in the next elections ... that is why they are so dangerous for Pakistan .. they fool people like you into thinking that they are all about development and infrastructure when in fact they are ruining our economy and depriving our next generations of education and health .... and for WHAT !!?? just to enjoy this worldly life !!!

Why investors will invest in these projects, if they will not get profit from these projects?? The cheap energy projects are also in the pipeline, what we need is the electricity mix. The good thing about this project is it is cheap than most IPPs being run on diesel and we don't need to spent precious foreign exchange to import oil for generating electricity.
