Public believes Load Shedding will end in 3 years; Supports suspension of CNG supply to vehicles

This manifestation of public opinion would give boost to proposals for closure of all markets at 8 PM and suspension of CNG supplies for automobiles.
There are few countries in the world where markets remain open till midnight or even 11 PM. It is criminal to do so in an energy starved country like Pakistan. We need to change our shopping habits.
Furthermore, when there are more efficient uses of natural gas, it is a waste to burn gas in vehicles. So gas should be supplied to CNG sector only after fulfilling the needs of more efficient sectors.

CNG ameer ki zarorat haiy- jabkay Bijly ghareeb ki- kion kaay ameeron nay tu simens and MNC kay generators bhi fix karwaliay hain- Be stretegic CNG should be completely banned because jo car rakhta hay woh petrol ka bill bhar sakta haiy- regarding rikshwa and buses then CNG should be 1000% should be banned because these people dont care about safety and are causing daily burning humans to death-!

Impossible, as annual electricity demand growth rate is 7%, this year the shortfall peaked at 6,500 MW so far, which is approximately 30% of the total demand. The ongoing projects will hardly manage the demand in growth and the shortfall will remain there i.e. 30% approximately. We will not be able to catch the ever growing demand with gimmicks.

HYDERABAD: In the clearest evidence of the negative fallout of the power crisis, the state has said that the production loss for the major industries in the state for the period September 2012 to April 2013 alone stands at Rs 30,000 crore. Industries like steel, cement, pharma, ferro alloys, paper and ceramic are the worst hit having suffered a 30% loss in production due to the prolonged power crisis.
According to the industries department, the small and medium enterprises have suffered a production loss of 40%, which translated to Rs 15,000 crore, during the financial year 2012-13. These figures are part of a special report prepared by the state government that is to be presented to the Centre by chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy during his visit to Delhi where he is slated to meet Planning Commission officials on May 29-30.
