PESHAWAR: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) provincial minister from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Ziaullah Afridi, Saturday alleged that Chief Minister Pervez Khattak was misusing Ehtesab Commission to victimise his opponents.
Speaking to media persons at Peshawar Press Club, Ziaullah Afridi said that Ehtesab Commission was being used by KP CM to pursue his own interests and for arrest of opponents.
He claimed a former DG Ehtisab Commission had made it clear that evidences against Pervez Khatak had been received, but before that the Ehtisab Act was amended.
Afridi said that Imran Khan raised the slogan of change, but he should save his credibility by making a choice between CM Khattak and the party.
The former minister said that policies of Pervaiz Khattak had besmirched the image of PTI, alleging his aide Jamshaiduddin Kakakhel was involved in illegal mining.
He also alleged that false witnesses were produced in the court and special investigators were recruited against him.
Afridi said, "he is still in PTI," adding that a decision to change his political affiliations had not been made.
