ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI)Tuesday called for putting a life ban on the legis-lators, having fake degrees, as they had cheated their voters. Speaking to a PTI gathering of office-bearers and activists in Rawalpindi, the partys spokesman toChairman Imran Khan, Zahid Hussain Kazmi, empha-sised the national politics must be purged of cheaters. He also proposed that the degrees of those whohad taken part in the general election 2002 and made their way to parliament or provincial legisla-tures, should also be subjected to verification. If proved guilty, they must also be banned forlife for cheating the nation and enjoying power for a full five-year term, the PTI spokesman maintained. Referring to the PPP-led govern-ments performance in the Centre and in provinces and that of PML-N in Punjab, hecharged both the leading parties once again stood exposed before the masses.
