PESHAWAR: Minister for Health Shaukat Ali Yousafzai said on Thursday that joint candidate of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jamaat-e-Islami and Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Gul Badshah would sweep the by-poll for NA-1.
Addressing a convention of the PTI, JI and QWP at Auqaf Hall, he said those who spoiled the Pakistan Railways and Peshawar infrastructure have no right to seek votes from Peshawarites.The convention was also addressed by chief minister’s advisor Ziaullah Afridi, MPA Javed Naseem, JI leaders Baharullah advocate, QWP leader Malik Sher Bahader and PTI NA-1 candidate Gul Badshah.
On the occasion, the coalition partners assured their full support to the PTI candidate.Elaborating the PTI government’s steps for beautification and development, the health minister said that for the first time in the history of the province, a package of Rs1.5 billion has been approved for the development of Peshawar.
He announced that emergency services in state-run hospital in the entire province would be completely free and the government would suspend the doctors who pressed the patients to bring the medicine from market. He said tests like MRI and CT Scan and medicines would also be free in emergency.
