LAHORE - PTI would not take part in any of the by-polls under the incumbent government, as it took power after a fraudulent election, announced PTI Punjab President Ijaz Chaudhry on Saturday.
PTI provincial president made this announcement in the backdrop of upcoming by-polls in PP-162, Sheikhupura on September 22. The seat fell vacant due to the death of PML-N MPA, Khurram Gulfam.
He said PTI had already tendered resignations from the assemblies came into being as a result of rigged elections.
Ijaz added that Zubair Ahmed Sahol, PTI candidate from PP-162 would not contest the by-polls, while the party would also not take part in any other by-election in future. He said PTI would take part in an election which would be supervised by a reformed electoral body with the capacity of holding fair and transparent polls.
He said PTI would not give a retreat call to Azadi marchers till the resignation of prime minister and stay in the federal capital come what may.

This is a slap on your leader's face when he was crying that whey NS did a victory speech at 11:23 pm. Like this by election, majority of 2013 election results were announced un officially around 9 PM.
It is one seat and General Election consisted of 272 seats and the results were not announced.kesa dia.

PESHAWAR: The by-election for the provincial assembly constituency PK-68 in Dera Ismail Khan district on September 8 will be a litmus test for the popularity of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as its candidate will face tough contest from some independents.
According to an official of Provincial Election Commission, the election campaign would end Saturday night.
The seat fell vacant after an election tribunal disqualified independent MPA Javed Akbar Khan, who was supporting the PTI-led coalition government in the province, for having fake degree obtained from a seminary.
The runner-up in the May 2013 general election Makhdoom Syed Murid Kazim of the Awami National Party (ANP) had filed the petition against Javed Akbar Khan to challenge his degree.
There are 13 candidates in the run for PK-68 in the by-election.
However, the real contest is expected between PTI candidate Ihtesham Javed, son of Javed Akbar Khan, and independent candidate and former provincial minister Makhdoom Syed Murid Kazim.
In the 2013 general election, Javed Akbar had secured 41,349 votes while Murid Kazim had got 31,125 votes. PTI candidate Mohammad Humayun Khan had polled 1,613 votes.
However, at that time Javed Akbar was supported by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl. The JUI-F would oppose the PTI candidate in the by-election.
The PTI had won two by-polls for the National Assembly seats in Tank and Lakki Marwat against the JUI-F candidates. Both seats were vacated by Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who had secured three National Assembly seats in the 2013 general election. The southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are considered the stronghold of JUI-F, but it failed to retain the seats vacated by its head.
Political observers believe the real test of the Imran Khan-led party would be gauged in the by-election in view of its marathon ongoing sit-in in Islamabad.
His PTI didn’t have a vote-bank in PK-68 as the outcome of the May 2013 general election showed, but the decision by Javed Akbar to join the party has boosted its support there.
However, the political parties aren’t very strong in this constituency and instead clans and biradaries have their own vote-bank there.
A local journalist Qayyum Nawaz in Dera Ismail Khan said the elections for PK-68 had always been dominated by influential families and clans. He said the Makhdoom family has its own vote bank as it has a huge number of disciples in the area.
“Javed Akbar Khan and Makhdoom Murid Kazim have been influential rivals in this constituency in the past elections, but this time they have switched loyalties,” Qayyum Nawaz said. He added the support of JUI-F to Murid Kazim would boost his position in the by-polls.
Faqirzada Abdul Wahid of JUI-Nazriati and Makhdoomzada Mujtabaul Hassan Shah are some of the other prominent candidates who can dent the vote bank of Syed Murid Kazim.
According to an official of Provincial Election Commission, arrangements for the by-polls had been finalised. He said 108 polling stations and 289 polling booths would be set up for a total of 1,27,600 registered voters in the constituency.
Some 31 polling stations have been declared most
sensitive and 27 sensitive by the local administration, he added.

My dear, it does not matter counting of one seat or all seats of general election, criteria is same. Un official results are always announced in few hrs.
