Lahore is booming with excitement, not just Lahore, I would say everyone who loves cricket is excited, kudos to PCB and media creating such a hype...
EspnCricinfo has already started its coverage, even though there are still 2,5 hours to go.... I have seldom seen the website starting its coverage so much in advance and it is being flooded with comments from across the globe, showing people's involvement and excitement.
PTI on the other hand has once again lost its senses by unnecessarily poking its nose in a non issue... Common people are still scratching their heads that what happened to IK.... We can not expect anything from supporters anyway that they will think sensibly.. IK got real bad advisers and his own thinking and decision making is known to us all..... I have been saying this since 7,8 years now and had always got abused but I will say it again that just being honest to the cause is nothing,....
with that you can succeed in things like welfare and small business ventures but you cannot go anywhere in politics or strategic issues/businesses.... you need an eye of eagle and thinking of a fox to make decisions which may form the future....
One remote possibility was from relatively better educated cyber supporters of PTI to help better the decision making by voicing loud and crtisizing any bad move by party but sadly there were mostly immature youngsters who just made PTI another MQM, PPP and PMLN like entity where Bhutto or Altaf bahi is like next to God and can say no wrong or make a wrong decision....
It is not the first time that IK said something and then tried to rectify it by even more BS logics and the followers keep trying to keep up with it.... It is not even the last folly of his, there will another in a couple of days, i can promise... sad but true...:(
I cannot say how much will it damage the already deteriorating popularity of PTI but one thing is for sure that it won't be anything like 2011/2012 anymore.... The most PTI can now do is to secure KPK again somehow and try to bring real change there to make it a role model.... I wonder if it is possible with present lot, specially with the kind of advisors and office holders IK now has around him but hope remains as long as life remains....
I congratulate PCB and Govt on bringing some excitement, some action and some sort of buzz in so depressed environment...
