WASHINGTON: United States President Barack Obama praises over 15,000 Pakistani doctors serving the American nation.

15,000 Pakistani doctors have been playing a marvelous role in provision of healthcare facilities to people of US and I pay tribute to them, he said while talking at the White House hosted Iftar Dinner.
Talking with Association of Pakistani Physicians Dr Javed Salman, Obama said that he hopes doctors would extend their support for present healthcare reforms of the government.

I am not sure how much Pakistani govt need to spend on education on one Doctor in Pakistan, and then they end up free of charge to USA. These Pakistani Doctors have all human rights to freely go wherever they feel like, but Pakistani govt from now on should create a strict law, can go, after providing 1 year obligatory medical services to poor citizens of their motherland Pakistan in some village or underprivileged rural areas where there are no Physicians as a shukria to Pakistan for providing cheap tution and facilities of 6 years for their medical college education, I think it sounds fair as this law exists in many countries who subsidize the medical education of their students.(bigsmile)PHIR NO PROBLEM maaal bunaoe after that.

yes you are right quota system, if practised yae subb professional pakistan koe tremendous faaaeda pohoncha saktae hein long term mein, achae zahan kae intelligent Pakistani professionals, our nation will benefit a lot. After that no problem leave if needed, country was duly serviced, not just by left out kind of professionals as you truly pointed out their poor intelectual capabilities running the below average show under their capacity, definately harms the nation on long term basis.(bigsmile)

@ abdls. Thanks god these doctors are in usa .. what do u want .thanks god they r not in punjab the way nora league treated them even a lab assistent dsnt want to stay in pak. yes agreed after all that has been said and done, these are just right ideas, practsiing it as a law thats a another discussion with many other factors involved considering Pakistan where the situation is definately not ideal. Govt is more interested in $$$$ these doctors are sending to Pakistan. Pakistani govt wants these $$$, not these professionals. That`s why govt forced them to go abroad in the first place!
