I was shocked when he (Zardari) became the president: Nawaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that President Asif Ali Zardari had a discussion with him to give indemnity to former president general (retd) Pervez Musharraf when he decided to step down from the presidency.
Addressing a gathering in Lahore on Youm-e-Takbeer, Sharif said that President Zardari had shown no interest in becoming the president back then and that Nawaz had a written account of that, but then Zardari deceptively took over the presidency.
I was shocked when he became the president and so were the people of Pakistan.
He further said that his party did not vote for Zardari as the president.

I left my support of old parties:PPP,PML(N),PML(Q),MQM,ANP and JUI(F) due to their failure
in solving the problems of the people of Pakistan. Which road,city of Pakistan is safe for the
poor inPakistan? No one! Then,why we must support these parties? The people of Pakistan
must support and vote for a new party,PTI headed by Imran Khan to end all the evils such as
corruption,injustice,robberies,kidnapping,raping, target killing and Bhatta Taking.

All the above ruling parties have failed to control the crimes and hence we must support and vote
for PTI for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.
