Hate ppp but this is good step :). Secondly, the girls age is increasing day by day automatically due lake of expenses by the parents. There was statistics done by University emphasizing, social pressure of dowry and lack of suitable matches in cast system have led to automatic increase of marriage age. This have also created sense of insecurity of parents towards their children for indulging into various moral corruption. Anyway good step by PPP ... must be appreciated

PPP's like "Fresh milk ;)" for them self's and they are punting Age limits on honest pplz who want to get married .
I think minimum age should be around 16 .

I think minimum age should be around 16 .

Puberty is the cut off point for some of us but people have been abusing this to a derogatory level and therefore laws should be stricter. BTW the age of 16 was a British raj act which was introduced in the 1929 child marriage act.

Good step after 50 years on politics .. ppp ka bus chalay tu larkiyon ki shadi honay hi na day .. bus yon hi kam chalta rahey theek hai

By the way is this is the biggest issue in pakistan if you provide them quality education they will atoumatically start getting marrried after graduation and masters means 22 years .. gimiks

Pakistan is not confined to your mohalla/sector. This only happens in urban middle class families. 70% of the population resides in rural areas. Secondly education has nothing to do with marriage. Education/knowledge is supposed to be acquired from cradle to the grave.

Mere leader imran khan ka khawab hai ke pakistan ke rural areas mein bhi loag english degree lain numal bana dali miamwali mein .. kpk mein education drive .. yeh behoda mazak karnay walay pehlay tu 40 sal mein kammkoi nahinkia or jo kia hai woh zara dekhna .. women school college uni in whole sind and free education and ever girl must study till graduation that is the law if you can make I will appriciate

puberty is a natural age limit... and it should be remained as so... un-necessary laws... against the Islamic ethics...

Europe ke ziada tar countries mein bhi 16 saal he hai..Japan is not exception.....waise Sharmeela jaisi munafiq aur corrupt binte Corrupt Usman Farooqui (Ex Chairman PSM) ka bill assembly mein lana bohat ajeeb aur hairankun hai...Waise tau poore mulk ki haalat kharab hai lekin Rural Sindh special case hai, Agar dunya mein poverty dekhni hai tau Sindh,Jahalat dekhni ho tau Sindh,Na insafi aur zulm ka nizam dekhna ho tau Sindh se barri misaal dunya mein shaid hi kahin mil sake AUR is Sindh mein 1970 se yehi PPP hukamraan hai ,Lagta hai is Pakistan mein kuch acha nahin hone wala :angry_smile:
