hamary hukmranoo ney hamari qoume ki gharait $$$$ kay iwaz baich diya hay, aur khud bayghairat ho gaye hain, waisay bhi haram ka maal khaney waloon main ghairat khatam ho jati hai,...phir bhi iss qoume nay inhay hi vote daina hai..no choice for us.

Very strange.. was that illegal ammunition ? OR Were they planning to distribute among Punjabi Talibans ? or they were planning to keep in the embassy ?

Police seize arms & equip of US Embassy
By KASHIF ABBASI Submitted 18 hrs 57 mins ago ISLAMABAD Suspicious luggage including bulletproof jackets, helmets and weapons belonging to the US Embassy was seized by police here, sources said Saturday. According to details, officials of Islamabad police intercepted a suspicious vehicle Shezore (J 9573) at the Zero Point picket.
During the checking, it transpired that two persons namely Noushad and Lal Badshah were carrying cargo items containing M-16, 35 magazines; 9 mm, 13 magazines, several pistol pouches, compass, radio sets, maps, knives, and other army items.
On this, the police arrested the two carriers and shifted them to Margalla Police Station for investigation.
Sources close to the investigation disclosed that the local carriers were transporting these weapons to the US Embassy.
The sources informed TheNation that the vehicle was seized in the wee hours of Saturday.
During the primarily investigation, the accused informed the police that they have nothing to do with these weapons. The US Embassy have just hired our service to transport this luggage, the police quoted them as having said this.
During the visit this scribe to the police station, it was observed that a number of officials of US Embassy tried their level best for the release of the weapons, however, the police refused to do it.
According to the sources, the accused were taking the material of one Gustovo Ritschl, who is working for the US army, however, they were not having any permission from the authorities of the US Embassy.
While sharing the details of the recovered items, the police sources said that besides other items they also recovered hundreds of pouches of different weapons, Body Armour, CDs, cell phones and sunglasses.
When contacted Spokesman for the US Embassy Richard neither confirmed nor denied the incident saying he has no information about the vehicle.
The police have register the case (Fir no 305/10) under section 13-20-65 for illegal possession of weapons.
When contacted, the SHO Margalla said that an official of the US Embassy contacted him for the release of the luggage, but he didnt show any permission letter thats why their luggage is not being released.
This is the third FIR being registered against the US embassy personnel in the space of as many days.

All US personell should be allowed to carry weapons in Pakistan. USA is in Pakistan to help Pakistanis and to make Pakistan safe.

It is the fault of Pakistani people, of Pakistan Mass Media companies and their workers, Pakistan Army, ALL workers of Pakistan's institutions, etc etc. ALL! of us are responsible for letting this go, by adding our note of discouragement to it. Why don't they make big news out of this ?! USA does it to us. Why don't we tell the whole world what they are doing to us ?!
They have eaten money. But the question is, will you (the people of this country) accept it, and let this continue as it is ?! or will you (the people of this country) do something about it ?!

Well this is really a questionable thing that for what purpose they need such a huge quantity of ammunition? People from the US embassy say that, "This is for the forces who are training to Frontier Constabulary." What a pathetic answer. How and well equipped Pakistani forces are everyone know. I have no doubt that this would mean to some outrageous act. The Pakistan services must have a close watch on these elements especially people those are working with US embassy. They can cause some irreparable damage to Pakistan.

americans have brought a very large amount of equipement inside pakistan including heavy weapons and armored cars,these will be used shortly when america will create civil war like situation inside pakistan

Even if one was to believe that the weapons or equipment of questionable nature was used for Pakistani defense training, I fail to understand why the Americans carry this stuff around with impunity. I remember from my days associated with a government association dealing with technical equipment, all the equipment was transported under Pakistani security surveillance and not freely in embassy cars. This a clear violation of protocol but I guess our government being the puppets they are look the other way conveniently. This doesn't make the whole exercise legal in any way.

Their very presence in Pak, other than the embassy building, is illegal. I think its against the Geneva convention to buy properties by or on behalf of a foreign diplomatic mission. We all know that US mission has bought several lots and buildings in Islamabad. And dont tell me please that those buildings are being used to teach handicapped children !!!! (cry)
