Police raid HEC chairman's house, 9 arrested

Hyderabad police raided HEC Chairman Javed Leghari's house and arrested 9 people in Goth Bakhshoo Leghari on Friday.
The arrested persons have been shifted to an unknown place. The arrested servants include Sultan Chandio, Jeevan Kohli, Sangro Kohli, Kamal, Hurchan Kohli, Sheva Kohli, Weeru Kohli and Kmil Dars.
Heavy contingent of police raided Legharis village. The family and servants refused to open the doors. The police broke them and entered the houses. They arrested nine servants. The people of the village protested against the incident. They said that the arrests are being made to stop HEC chairman from checking of degrees of lawmakers. Legharis brother and former DCO Tanduwala Yar was also arrested by the police some days ago and was presented in Anti-Corruption Court.

Democracy works if you don't have a friendly opposition in parliament. No matter how much we criticize Zardari ( he is not a politician after all he was gifted this position by people of the islamic republic of pakistan), Nawaz sharif and his PML-N are seasoned politicians and they are totally ignoring all these atrocities for political gains. Democracy would have worked if the majority of people in Pakistan really understood what was good for their country.
