I just had this thought earlier and i was like this is a country i have been taught Quad-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal imagined and it is a country made in the name of Islam. But you want to know the interesting thing?
Almost half the country is voting for a criminal.
Nawaz Sharif is a criminal who has been sentenced to jail for 10 years for corruption. Half the Pakistan will vote for Nawaz Sharif - a convicted criminal. Her daughter has been sentenced to 7 years for aiding and abetting in the crime and being involved in the corruption herself and hear this, political experts are saying she is primed to become the Prime minister in coming years.
America is non-Muslim country. You would think that they would have the highest corruption and no morals right? after all unka to koi emaan hi nahi as we proudly say. You would be so wrong.
Nixon was their president back in the 70s and he resigned and was sent home because he lied to the nation, used the intelligence agencies in his favor. Do you think he said "mujhay kyo nikala" or that the justice system was against him? NOOOO he resigned himself and went home.
America had another president Clinton. You know what he sent home for?. He had sexual relations and mind you they don't believe in sex after marriage, it is a normal thing to have an affair. Clinton had an affair with a girl and he lied in the court about it, you know what happened?. He was sent home for PERJURY!. The president of united states, the most powerful man in the world was sent home FOR LYING IN A COURT!. Do you think he said "mujhay kyu nikala". Pakistanis don't consider lying a bad thing, there are people who admit that Nawaz Sharif is a liar and they will still vote for him.
I don't know what to think, is Pakistan really Islamic?. Is this what Quad-e-Azam struggled for?. All i know is this
In Islam, in any legal system, anyone supporting and enabling a criminal to commit crime is a criminal. Nawaz Sharif is a convicted criminal so anyone voting for him is a criminal because they are enabling him to continue his criminal activities.
Whether you agree with me or not, it's up to you. Pakistan is a criminal country, in Quad-e-Azam's pakistan or in an Islamic Pakistan, PMLN wouldn't exist.
