Yeah and Americans didn’t refer to those numerous studies and they raised prices of cigarettes pretty much everywhere. I’m not a smoker but since some of my friends are and in NY price per pack went up significantly in the past few years.

Good initiative. Cardiac Hospitals should be equipped with latest machinery and labs with the new Health tax. Soft drinks and power drinks are playing a major role in growth of Diabetic patients and cardiovascular disease.

I am a smoker but appreciate this step.
Soft drinks and junk food shall be heavily taxed.

Agreed, consumption doesn't go down, but it acts as a barrier for new entrants.
