PIA pilot offloads flight steward for observing fast

اسلام آباد: (دنیا نیوز) باکمال لوگوں کی عجیب منطق، پی آئی اے کے کپتان نے اسلام آباد سے برمنگھم جانے والی پرواز سے روزہ دار فضائی میزبان کو اتار دیا۔ میزبان روزہ توڑے تو ساتھ لے جا سکتا ہوں، کپتان کی ہٹ دھرمی پر فضائی میزبان جہاز سے اتر گیا۔

پی آئی اے ذرائع نے بتایا کہ اسلام آباد سے برمنگھم جانیوالی پرواز پی کے 791 پر کپتان اور فضائی میزبان کے درمیان تلخ کلامی ہوئی۔ کپتان کا کہنا تھا کہ فضائی میزبان نے روزہ رکھا ہوا ہے، اس لیے اسے فلائٹ پر نہیں لے جا سکتا۔

فضائی میزبان کا کہنا تھا کہ کسی قانون میں نہیں لکھا کہ روزہ رکھنے پر پابندی ہے۔ کپتان نے دعویٰ کی اکہ سرکلر کے مطابق دوران پرواز روزہ نہیں رکھا جا سکتا۔

ذرائع نے بتایا کہ کپتان نے فضائی میزبان سے کہا کہ اگر وہ روزہ توڑ دے تو اسے پرواز پر لے جایا جا سکتا ہے، بصورت دیگر اسے جہاز سے اترنا ہوگا، ورنہ پرواز آپریٹ نہیں کرونگا۔

ترجمان پی آئی اے کا کہنا ہے کہ روزہ رکھنے پر کوئی پابندی نہیں، کپتان کو روزہ رکھنے پر فضائی میزبان کو آف لوڈ نہیں کر نا چاہیے تھا، پرواز سے واپسی پر کپتان کے خلاف کارروائی ہوگی۔

For pilots, it is illegal to FAST. If they fast, they risk the lives for the paseengers.
Same mayb the situation with stewards. In case of an emergency they have to assist the passengers, if they r fasting plus flight conditions , they surely are less efficient and in an emergency will not be able to perform their duties and might risk the lives of many.

Anyways there is an exemption for people who are travelling, which in itself is a hassle let alone when your work is travelling. One can always ask for leave or make up the missed fasts on their days off.
