Guys i came across some threads where people have already started criticising the "moderation" of new moderators, by explicitly judging their behaviour in light of what their personal views are regarding the mod. This is a very disturbing development, as it shows that some people can wrongfully implicate the moderators by "framing" them in coversations designed to show them being biased !
I mean not to mention the fact that this is a political (siasat.pk) forum and politics is a dirty business, but we should not polute our forum by passing comments that would TEST the PATIENCE of any Pakistani be it a Moderator or Non-Moderator.
In this respect a few things must be considered as general guidelines when on a PAKISTANI FORUM so as not to rouse the temperature of either the moderator or any other forum member.
- NOTHING will be tolerated against Islam which means the Quran and Sunnah.
- Have a general sense of Respect and dignity when mentioning Pakistan ...you have the right to disagree but NOT insult Pakistan or Pakistanis.
- The majority of the Pakistanis are Muslims BUT we equally Respect our countrymen of other faiths and they have full support to voice their opinions bad or good about any matter so long as it does not insult Pakistan as a country or go against its ideology.
- Have a common sense of courtesy for the ideological feelings of a Pakistani...always keep in mind that Pakistan was created after the martydom of hundreds of thousands of people, so their is a ALOT of EMOTION attached with Pakistani Ideology! - In short for Pakistanis this was nothing short of a holocaust!
And for those who are big on dictionaries i would like to remind them of a word called "RESPECT"
Here is the meaning from Dictionary.com "esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: I have great respect for her judgment."
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/respect?s=t&ld=1032
So as long as the members "RESPECT" these basic guidelines...I dont think they will run into issues with ANY MODERATOR !(bigsmile)
ENJOY and Good Luck !;)
