The best hotels we have are Sheraton and PC? they were better than this 40 years ago we used to have German dancers in Sheraton...
The tallest building in Pakistan until recently was the Habib bank? it was built in 1966.
The best things we have now were made decades ago we havent done anything since then.
My College Councillor used to share her stories as a college girl, they were allow to go to cricket stadiums to watch cricket... she once told me all the school girls were taken to service road in Sadder with flowers, near where we have the gold market now..
And she said we went there to greet someone.... guess who showed in a slow moving open top Mercedes?
It was Queen Elizabeth herself.

What is Normal?
A country at constant state of War since Zia ul Haq times. What more do you need, what you see around now in NORMAL. We are in Constant war, with our own selves, Drug, Minority, Suba Parasti, language, Neighboring countries, what ever.. we are in constant state of some vague sustained Jihad. As all wars, it require your blood or your money.
What you see now is fruit of what we have been able to sustain for the past so many years. May Allah SWT help us all through this bad dream.
