Pakistan to host Asia Cup next year

Singapore: In a decision taken by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in Singapore today, it has been unanimously decided that Pakistan will host Asia Cup next year [2020].

It will be 20th edition of the mega-tournament and will be played in T20 format.

Officials of Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SCB) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) attended the huddle.

It was also decided that Australia would host ICC T20I World Cup a month earlier before Asia Cup.

India are the defending champions of the Asia Cup.

6 Years ago Pervez Khattak the PTI Chief minister claimed PTI will build 300 stadiums in the province.....their "stadiums" turned out to be playgrounds. 6 year of PTI government in KPK has not been able to build 1 stadium capable of holding an ASIA Cup event....ye hai in khoton ki reality.....NOT 1 match will be held in all of KPK.!
