Very strange title, it is a futile try to confuse and to alienate MQM from Army and visa versa, it contains some old news, some exegerations and strange deductions.,

The city of Karachi has suffered enough ever since the dark regime of (Late) Zia ul Haq. Karachi maintained its unique spot due to its multi-ethnic and inter-sectarian diversity together with interfaith harmony, its lights and glamour, room for progressive ideas, commercial strength, strategic location and economic importance. These tenets were around even before the emergence of APMSO or MQM. In fact scanning through Karachi's chronological history of past 300 years would leave one noticing the fact that the city was always inclusive of cultural blends from different directions, and a home to Goan (Christian) and Parsi(Zoroastrian) communities too for over a century. Before formation of Pakistan the city was under the influence of Parsi, Jewish, (Sindhi)Hindu, Kutchi and Gujarati merchants/elites apart from British nobles. And later on it would serve as a home to immigrants from India , Punjabis, Pashtuns, Sindhis, Balochs, Seraikis etc....The city could either be declared a separate province or Union Territory based on its history of diversity else the areas of rural Sindh must be developed and animosity among common Sindhi population towards other ethnic groups must be eliminated through proper channels of dialogue and education. This way the rural-urban feud would get dissolved.

Plus MQM needs to rectify its image if it really wants to perform as a national mainstream party and for that they need to admit their faults too. It's not hard to find many MQM supporters indulging in ethnic hate mongering and spitting venom against Punjabis, Sindhis and Pashtuns. The way they tampered with history has been a major tool for brainwashing an entire generation of Urdu Speaking population. Quite lately, they would give indications to come out of their ethnic identity. Perhaps a change of heart or change in leadership might give some fresh breeze of air.
