Tell me when was this line coined
"Pakistan ka matlab kia: La Ilahah Illallah"
Ask an Average Pakistani, where an who coined the above line. The answer will be simple its within the Original manifest of Muslim League.
We all know that is not correct. Pakistan ka matlib kia was coined by non other than Sialkot famous poet Asghar Saudai. Further details about this can also be taken by First and Last meeting of All Pakistan Muslim League Held under the Chairmanship of the Quaid-i-Azam at Karachi Khaliqdina Hall. Further details on this topic has been documented by Raja of Mehmoudabad.
For those who vote in favor that Pakistan ka Matlab Kia that became the rallying cry for Pakistan, The first Documented proof can be found in “The Fourth Estate: People and Politics in Pakistan, by Hasan Khalid, 1994”
My argument would be, why did it took us 40 plus years to realize origin of our rallying cry for Pakistan?
Further as a footnote and information for every one...... first session of the Legislative Assembly of Pakistan in which Qaid-e-Azam was also present started without a recitation of the Quran. Further Qaide Azam speech in Lucknow session of the Muslim League in 1938 in which he had advocated the participation of women in public life.
