"Pakistan is proud of her youth, particularly the students, who are nation builders of tommorrow. They must fully equip themselves by discipline, education, and training for the arduous task lying ahead of them"Quaid-e-Azam

Have we done justice to what we were instructed ?? Our grandfathers were the youth's then when the "Real" Quaid of Pakistan said these words. Now that we are the Youth of Pakistan, did we do our part?? Or we sat back and blamed our fathers and forefathers for where we stand today ??
Its public holiday to celebrate his birthday ? Have we really achived 50% of what his vision was ?
what is the answer of Yester-youths and Today's-youth ???

Education in Pakistan is in complete mess.Lot of schools have been taken over by " waderas" who use them as their guest houses. Our per capita investment on education is lowest in South East Asia, even countries like Nepal and Bhutan spend more money on per capita basis than Pakistan. On the other hand we have elite schools like LUMS who charge exhorbitant fees which only very rich can afford. Thus we are creating two class of people who have nothing in common.Unfortunately decay is all around, not only in Education Sector. How a Country can progress when you have 150 million illitrate people with no skills whatsoever. We can learn some lessons from our neighbour India who has done much better than us.

This type of thing requires massive public investment.A good percentage of GDP should be allocated and judiciously spent on education.Lot of people would invest if they had confidence that their money would be spent properly. As for personal level I contribute regularly to a Deaf and Dumb school in Lahore's Defence, also a chain of schools run by a singer in Lahore &Sahara trust.Besides my family has set up a trust in the name of my late father for helping needy people.
