KARACHI: Pakistan’s foreign direct investment increased by 101.2 per cent during the July-Aug in the current fiscal year, the State Bank of Pakistan said Thursday.
According to the central bank, Pakistan has $105.4 million foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first two month of the current fiscal year 2013-14 compared to $52.4 million received during the same month of the previous year.
Net foreign direct investment into Pakistan rose 76 per cent in the fiscal year 2012-13 which ended in June, reaching $1.447 billion compared to the previous year.
