LONDON: Unfortunately, Pakistan has always stayed the same since its inception as a less fortunate country. Pakistan is buried in debts as a consequence of its unbalanced finance which is reflected in poor health care, an unstructured educational system and a weak international trade.
Most of us live in inhuman conditions because of the extreme poverty, hunger, disease, unemployment, lack of education and both inexperienced and corrupt administration. Almost every government servant, starting from a class 4 to PM Nawaz Sharif, tries their share best to loot the nation. Our rulers have turned intoourruiners; they rob us of cash for hospitals, schools, roads and other necessities. They amass the money overseas, building glamorous palaces in luxurious places like Surrey of England.
It is good to see that our military is doing well whereas our government has utterly failed in this respect. Our rulers live in style and luxury, being in sharp contrast to the common individual, who sadly lacks education, health, wealth and other basic amenities of life. Our religious parties are ledbypsudo-Maulanas like Fazal Rahman, a highly opportunist politician who has no regard for the hunger of the poor and no grudges against dipping even to the lowest troughs of ethico-moral degradation. The rulers borrow significant amounts of money from the World Bank and the money disappears with no significant changes. The wealth of the richer is on the rise whilst the purse of the nation is getting emptier. The residence of Maryam Nawaz, the immediate neighbour of Shah Rukh Khan, in London stands as a glaring proof of the corrupt prime minister of Pakistan, where the majority of people live below the poverty line. The only hope of the nation, Imran Khan, also seems dwindling in his endeavours to prove himself strong enough to stand the test of time.
While the plunderers of national exchequer are busy in their heinous task, the nation is slumbering deep enough to be likened to have virtually gone intocoma. Every department of life in Pakistan appears to be paralysed and there seems to be no apparent remedy to the situation unless some Moses comes and stick us to the arousal state. If we don't choose today to stand for our rights and bring this corrupt mafia, comprising of figures such as Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, Pervez Rasheed, Rana Sanaullah--to mention a few--to justice and take the looted money back from them otherwise it is certain that we would be taken to the point of no u turn. Our generations will be right in cursing us for staying so pathetically helpless in front of the gangster of the few.
