There is no need to bloat the issue or show panic to win some political points. He has been out of military service since 25 years. There is nothing wrong in writing a book, if he has not compromise some confidential information.
At times, when India has spent huge sums and ran a campaign to defame and monstorize ISI/pak military in the country, this book would rather humanize its image. There is no harm but rather some good in it.

But what did he do regarding formation of IJI in '88. He was involved in afghan War issues at that time. He was involved in the distribution of private funds under the instructions of political cell in president office in '90. The legality of that political cell was questioned because, by law, ISI was to obey the PM's political cell only. Justice Iftikhar ruled that Obeying president's office was illegal during that interim period. He should be tried for carrying out the illegal orders.
However, let us not fall into the trap that nawaz has prepared to divert the debate/anger towards forces, away from his misdeeds. It is what all Nawaz's propaganda about!
